Easy Plate EB is a ready-to-use prepared media plate designed for the cultivation and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae in food samples. It eliminates the need for conventional media preparation and sterilization, helping save laboratory time, labor, and space.
Easy Plate EB contains Violet Red Bile Glucose (VRBG) media and a cold-water-soluble gelling agent that facilitates colony enumeration. The colonies are easily identified using the plates coloring system, with results available in approximately 24 ± 1 hours.
The compact Easy Plate format uses approximately 1/20th the volume of a traditional Petri dish, helping laboratories maximize available incubator space and perform more tests efficiently. Easy Plate EB also demonstrates high correlation with conventional VRBG agar across a wide variety of foods.
Easy Plate EB is AOAC PTM certified and is supplied as 100 tests in four separate bags of 25 tests each.
