ATP Liquswab

LiquSwab is an easy-to-use liquid test that works in conjunction with Biolum Hygiene monitoring system. The swab is available in 2 formats: Free and Total. Free measures dissolved ATP that s free in liquid (non-microbial ATP). LiquSwab Total measures both free ATP and microbial ATP (non-microbial and microbial ATP) in the liquid. The difference between Total and Free provides an indication of microbial contamination in the samples.

LiquSwab can be used with an ATP Luminometer to monitor ATP levels in the water as a quality indicator in areas like Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and rinse water samples. It is also used for water treatment applications in healthcare and monitoring biomass in cooling towers.

LiquSwab (Total), an ATP water test swab measures both ATP contained within living cells and particulate matter (microbial ATP) as well as ATP dissolved in water (non-microbial or dead microbial ATP). LiquSwab (Free) measures only dissolved ATP outside of living cells (non-microbial ATP). Used together, these two products can be an effective quality monitoring system. The difference between Total and Free test results represents ATP from living organisms (also referred to as biomass).
